Successful Asthma Treatment

Patient History/Treatment: 11 years old boy (4ft. 10in., 83 lbs) has had asthma since he was 6 months old. Episodes are often brought on by allergic reaction to dogs, cats, or pollen. They are more often in colder weather. Treatment include: Ablution inhaler; Ablution in Nebulizer only when needed, Singular.

Patient Profile: The patient is active and athletic. He excels in all sports especially basketball. He had to have some medication before every game. After 30 minutes of play he would often have to stop for a while because it was hard to breathe. And often he would not play a whole quarter.

Treatment: The bouts began tapering off within the first week treatment. He did experience some minor bouts when the weather got very cold and those were immediately stopped by taking the recommended remedies. He plays all afternoon and all through his games without pause now. And on the rare occasion he begins to have some trouble, just taking the remedies alleviates that immediately. He can spend time with cats now but not on a permanent basis.

Summary: He is a most happy young fellow (and so are his teammates).
